Our Infrastructure group takes a multipronged approach to investing.

We invest mainly in private infrastructure assets with a high degree of cash flow visibility, and which provide a hedge against inflation.

These include mature, low- to moderate-risk assets in developed markets, complemented by investments with higher growth potential in emerging markets. We also invest in infrastructure funds, non-investment grade infrastructure debt, and structured investments in listed infrastructure companies.

What you’ll do

Asset Management

Makes and manages direct equity investments across the infrastructure asset class – including transmission and distribution networks, power generation and renewables, telecommunications, water utilities, airports, seaports and highways.​

Funds & Credit

Invests in infrastructure funds, non- investment grade infrastructure debt and structured investments in listed infrastructure companies.

Integrated Strategies Group Americas

Our Integrated Strategies group invests across the public and private asset markets and in less conventional investment opportunities, develops thematic investment strategies, and actively expands the GIC network of relationships beyond traditional domains.

Our team has developed strong relationships and invests with family offices, family-owned businesses/entrepreneurs, corporates, and individuals with specific expertise (fund-less sponsors).

We provide bespoke solutions to our partners for various uses including growth capital, M&A financing, shareholding restructuring, etc. With a flexible investment mandate, we can invest across the capital structure and hence find the right investment structure for our partners.​

What you’ll do

Family Solutions

Working with family offices, family-owned business and founders/entrepreneurs. Bespoke solutions to partners – e.g. acquisition and growth capital, family liquidity need, shareholder restructuring.​

Corporate Solutions 

Identify and invest with leading Tailored solutions to corporates e.g. M&A financing, subsidiary-level stakes. Aligned and constructive minority investor.​

Alternative Partners​

Partners not addressed by other teams – e.g. fund- less sponsors, funds focused on a specific niche.​

Financing Solutions​

Flexible solutions to finance IP/royalty streams, aircraft leasing, US mid-market lending, etc.​

Joint Investments​

Invest alongside other investment groups to optimize sizing and terms for GICs.​

GIC's Real Estate is a leading global real estate investment manager with a full suite of investment and asset management capabilities.

We have a flexible mandate to invest across the capital structure, in private and public markets, and in direct and indirect structures.

Our real estate portfolio spans traditional sectors (including office, industrial, multifamily, retail and hospitality) and niche sectors (such as life sciences, data centers, single family rental and self storage). Our in-house investment and asset management teams execute our strategy and generate alpha for our portfolio through selective investments and active asset management.​

What you’ll do

Flexible Investment Strategy​

Makes and manages direct equity investments across the infrastructure asset class – including transmission and distribution networks, power generation and renewables, telecommunications, water utilities, airports, seaports and highways.​

In-House Capabilities

Our in-house investment and asset management teams craft and execute our strategy to generate income and enhance value in our portfolio. The team works in collaboration with other key groups within the firm, including research, construction/ engineering, finance, legal and tax. Staff work together and share information across offices and regions, providing GIC RE with global insight coupled with local expertise.​

Long-term Horizon

Unlike traditional private equity real estate funds, we have no fixed horizon or pressure to exit. We can invest for the long-term, making us a unique investor and ideal partner.​
